The Boards are HERE!!!

Posted by shauna in SUP Palau

Oh yeah, tomorrow the fun begins.  This afternoon about 2:3opm this truck drove up to our house and we were just a little excited!

For the next 20 minutes or so, these really helpful guys unloaded the boards into our driveway...

Here's our driveway once they are all unloaded...

And then for the next couple of hours, Rachel and I unpacked them and got them in our house.  We didn't put the fins on or anything just yet - we wanted to get them in before sundown - afterall it is Tuesday Night Football night!  Today, though, the teams aren't that exciting for us, but we do like to watch Monday Night Football on Tuesday nights so we stay up with what's going on while we're away.

Anyway, here are the boards loaded into our house...

And yeah, it's a little crowded in there, but soon we'll move them to their new homes.  We'll have more on that and where we'll be hired in the next week or so.... so, stay tuned!

Wow! Palau, what a great place to SUP. I am in the Navy and just visited Palau in the beginning of October and the first thing I thought was SUP. I don't have it too hard as I live in Hawaii but next time I deploy, I will be bringing the old Angulo along. Glad yall went with werner paddles, they are fantastic. Just a side note, I also have an all walnut paddle with an elongated beaver tail type shape (long and slender) made by Shaw and Tenney. These paddles are great for distance paddling and look beautiful in the living room. Check em out! Hope we visit palau again soon, I will stop by and chat.

Congrats,

Matt
