It didn't take but a few minutes after getting introduced to this new sport, for us to fall in love with it. Literally, it was minutes after hitting the water for the very first time on a stand up paddle board, that we knew this sport was a keeper. It was love at first ride. This is how so many people, around the world, feel about stand up paddling, and for good reasons.

Stand up paddling is so easy to learn. Some sports are great and fun, but it takes some serious patience and determination to learn them. Not so with stand up paddling. It's a high success rate water sport. It can be learned quickly by just about anyone who can hike, walk or balance. You don't need to know how to surf already. Not at all. With the right equipment, in good conditions, with the right instruction, you can work out your wobbles in a matter of minutes and be enjoying the water like never before.

Stand up paddling is great for all sorts of people in all sorts of water conditions. This sport is enjoyed by men, women, and children of many different athletic backgrounds and abilities all over the world. Grannies to small children, world-class athletes to first timers - stand up paddling has something for them all. Stand up paddling is great in the flat-water and in the surf. No waves are required to have a fantastic time on a stand up paddle board. All over this planet, people are paddling the flat waters of bays, lakes, rivers, atolls, and lagoons. Others are out on ocean swells and in the surf. Whatever their preferences, people are having the time of their lives on stand up paddle boards.

Not only are paddlers having a blast enjoying nature in a whole new way, they are also getting a great workout. Stand up paddling is a great way to exercise without even really thinking about it. As you balance and paddle, you use every muscle in your body to make it happen. It's a fantastic human-powered sport and core strengthening activity that is thoroughly enjoyable.

Stand up paddling is an earth-friendly way to enjoy nature. Standing on a paddle board, gliding along the surface of the waters, you get to see your surroundings and the life below the surface of the water from a whole new perspective. We have kayaked for years and we were amazed at how different the view is on while stand up paddling. Going from a seated position to standing, elevating yourself up just a few feet, makes such a difference. All I can say is, WOW! You see so much more of what's going on just below you. It's incredible, it's beautiful, and you aren't harming the planet at all.

Then there's that special something about stand up paddle boarding. It's a soulful, graceful, peaceful experience. You feel the rhythm of the water and it sweeps you away into "the zone." Stresses just melt away, as you find yourself in sync with nature. You are relaxed, yet paddling, experiencing nature in a totally unique and wonderful way. Come get your feet with us and you'll see what we mean.
