Want to rent a board and take it out for a spin on your own?

Once we get hired on as instructors and guides, stand up paddle board rentals will be available. If you are experienced at stand up paddling, all you'll have to do is give a quick demo of your abilities. This will ensure the safety of both you and the equipment.

If you don't already have experience stand up paddling, then you'll need to take a lesson before you can take a board out on your own. Stand up paddling is relatively easy to learn, especially here in Palau. Good instruction will enable you to have a great time and a safe experience. Knowing what you are doing on the water is crucial.

Great equipment makes learning easier and your time paddling amazing. The boards are by Starboard, who have been making boards for over 10 years and create a great product. The boards are wide and stable, yet really responsive. Boards are available in sizes that work for people of many heights and weights. This is a great board to learn on. There are several lengths of Werner paddles, a great, lightweight, top of the line paddle.

It's required that a leash be worn at all times while on the water. The leash is provided and instruction on just how to use it. It will help keep the board nearby, in case you have an off-board-experience.
